I started Learning for Life because I believe no child should ever feel left behind. Here, every child is celebrated for who they are, and every family finds a place to belong. Our Mission
Our program provides reliable, high-quality care for children, enabling parents to focus on working and learning each day with assurance and peace of mind.
Families are supported in their secure relationships with their children. Staff make concerted efforts to develop a partnership with families. The program has an open-door policy and welcomes families to visit.
Families are provided with clear information about the program, philosophy, goals, policies, and practices. Families and community members involved in governance reflect the community's diversity.
Our Vision
Each child in our care will have the best day possible, every day.
Our programs nurture each child’s development in an active, child-centered learning community. The activities are structured to help the ideas, interests, skills, opinions, and curiosities of the children flourish. Creative work focuses on the importance of process rather than product.
Parents are invited to participate in all areas of their child’s day and encouraged to discuss their care preferences with program staff.
Both the planned and spontaneous activities of the curriculum provide each child with hands-on learning experiences and opportunities for discovery. Teacher observations of each child’s interests, skills, and development are the basis for curriculum planning. Diversity of culture and ethnicity is honored and celebrated.
Staff members work in teams to develop and implement an environment that nurtures children and families and respects the unique qualities and skills of each child.
Our Philosophy
We follow a learning-through-play philosophy and plan to phase into the Flight Framework Curriculum. In our program, we believe children learn through play. We apply our philosophy in the following ways:

We provide children with diverse play experiences that support their mental, emotional, spiritual, intellectual, social, cognitive, and physical development and learning as per their abilities and development.

All children are protected from all forms of physical punishment, physical and verbal abuse, and emotional deprivation.

For optimal development of children, we support, engagement of parents, guardians, and community members in our program. We encourage our families to participate by volunteering in events taking place throughout the year in our program. Families have the flexibility to choose the day, time, and event as per their schedule & availability.
