Welcome to Our Programs
Learning For Life Child Care provides reliable, high-quality care for children to
enable parents to focus on working and learning each day with assurance and peace of mind.
In line with the Centre’s philosophy, the Child Care Program is designed to meet the
developmental needs of the children. Weekly plans are prepared based on children’s interests and needs. The staff documents children’s interests and makes observation notes. Formal and informal communication with parents is also a venue to learn about the children’s interests.
Program Overview
The program for School Age Children Caregivers will encourage independence and responsibility. The children will be given many opportunities to choose their own activities to create and own their own experiences. Their input into program planning will be encouraged. The caregiver in the room will be loving and supportive and will facilitate positive interactions and problem-solving among the children in the room. Learning For Life Child Care will ensure the program meets the physical, social, intellectual, creative, and emotional needs of the children in the program
Baby Room (0 months – 2 years)
Nurturing the earliest moments of life
Our Baby Room provides a warm, secure, and loving environment where infants are supported in their earliest stages of development. With a focus on responsive care, our trained educators build strong bonds with each child, helping them feel safe and nurtured. We support physical, emotional, and sensory development through gentle routines, tummy time, music, language exposure, and interactive play. Each baby’s feeding, sleeping, and comfort needs are met with individual attention and care, working in close partnership with families to ensure a smooth home-to-daycare connection.

Toddler Room (19 months – 3 years)
Encouraging curiosity and independence
In our Toddler Room, we embrace the boundless energy and growing independence of this exciting age. Through structured play, exploration, and hands-on activities, toddlers develop critical motor, communication, and social skills in a safe and stimulating space. Our daily routines include music and movement, sensory experiences, early language and number games, and guided group time to build routine and cooperation. We foster self-help skills like handwashing, dressing, and expressing needs, all while supporting each child’s unique learning pace and personality.
Preschool Room (3 years – Pre-Kindergarten)
Inspiring young minds through play and purpose
Our Preschool program prepares children for kindergarten by nurturing cognitive, social, and emotional growth through a blend of guided learning and imaginative play. Children engage in early literacy, numeracy, science, and creative expression while building problem-solving skills, independence, and friendships. Our educators create meaningful learning experiences based on children’s interests, helping them become confident, capable, and curious learners. With age-appropriate activities and group work, we promote school-readiness in a caring, fun, and inclusive environment.

Kindergarten & Out of School Care (Grade 1 – Grade 6)
Extending learning beyond the classroom
Our Out of School Care program provides a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for school-age children before and after school. We offer a balance of homework support, creative activities, physical play, and quiet time, tailored to meet the interests and needs of older children. During holidays and non-school days, we provide full-day programming filled with themed activities, local outings, and skill-building opportunities. Our program helps children unwind, socialize, and continue growing in confidence, responsibility, and creativity in a fun and respectful space.
Each program includes nutricious snacks, outdoor play, and nap time as needed.
